Healthy children create healthy communities and, consequently, healthy cities. Integrating child- and pedestrian-friendly urban design solutions into municipal projects will foster the development of healthier communities in Üsküdar. As children experience the city every day, their journey to school must be safe for them. For this reason, the “Güvenli Okul Sokakları” (Safe School Streets) project was launched in 2024 in school environments in Üsküdar that were found to lack safe routes to school.

A visual identity centered on the project's theme was designed to increase the project's visibility and strengthen its representation in different media. An approach that highlights children's mobility, inspired by the geometric arrangements of safe streets, was adopted.
